The Madhya Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act and Rules provide for the constitution of a fund to finance and conduct activities promoting the welfare of labor in the State of Madhya Pradesh. Under the Act, both the employee and the employer contribute to labor welfare schemes. A separate board is constituted for this purpose under the Act, consisting of members from employers, employees, and state representatives.

RULES:

Any Establishment/Employer employing one or more persons

All employees, except those in managerial or supervisory capacities drawing wages of more than ₹10,000 per month.
