The Telangana Labour Welfare Fund Act and Rules provide for the constitution of a fund to finance and conduct activities promoting the welfare of labor in the State of Telangana. Under the Act, both the employee and the employer contribute to labor welfare schemes. A separate board is constituted for this purpose under the Act, consisting of members from employers, employees, and state representatives.

RULES:

Any Establishment/Employer employing 20 or more persons

All employees, except those in managerial or supervisory capacities drawing wages of more than ₹1,600 per month.
